Version 2.0 RC2 shipped on 10 October 2026 with 26 commits. Two things: a second lock on the admin, and the site made fast.

Google sign-in for the admin

  • Opening any part of the admin can now require, on top of Discord, a Google sign-in with an account of the community's Google Workspace domain. Members still sign in with Discord and permissions still come from Discord roles; the public site is unchanged.
  • A Google check lasts twelve hours. The recovery door keeps working under the operator's open window, and a recovery credential that changes ends every session it opened.
  • Another site can no longer lock an admin out, a secret Google refuses can be repaired from the browser, and the broken pages say whether checks survive.
  • Every refusal is listed once an hour, on the site's clock, with its way out named.

PageSpeed

  • Responsive images: uploads get smaller WebP copies beside the original, and pages ask for the right width. The front page's largest picture was 931 KB drawn 750 pixels wide.
  • The background video is re-encoded to under 3 MB, offered as WebM where smaller, and never loaded on a phone.
  • Scripts: the saved theme comes from a tiny file before the first paint, the main script is deferred, and the editor only loads on pages that draw an editor.
  • Every script and stylesheet shipped minified, and the brand face as WOFF2 at a third of its size, preloaded.
  • Stamped assets and uploads cached a year, immutable, with gzip raised to level 5.
  • A deleted upload takes its copies off every page, EXIF orientation is honoured, and animated pictures are left alone.
